The co-owner of the 9:30 Club, The Anthem, and Merriweather Post Pavilion has pleaded guilty to soliciting sexual acts from a massage therapist, but he won't face jail time, according to a report.

WTOP reports that the guilty plea by 61-year-old Seth Hurwitz, entered in court on Thursday, includes three years of supervised probation, 100 hours of community service, and a psychosexual evaluation.

He was accused of making sexual advances toward a massage therapist in Montgomery County, Md. back in August. He had booked a session with a licensed physical therapist and then police said he made sexual comments and motions, according to the report.

Specifically, he reportedly urged the therapist to go "a little higher" during the massage, prompting her to end the session and contact police.

After pleading guilty, he reportedly sent an email to staff in which he appeared to imply that he was innocent.

"There are simply times when, regardless of the facts or the law, it is much better to plead or settle and move on," the letter states. "This is one of those times."

The letter added that he was trying to improve himself as a person and that he "definitely needed some work."

The 9:30 Club, located at 815 V St NW, is arguably the most iconic music venue in the D.C. area. Rolling Stone named it one of the 10 best live music venues in America last year. It has been open since 1980 and can only fit a few hundred people.

The venue has been a favorite of Dave Grohl, and Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump reportedly one said the 9:30 Club had "so much character, you wonder if the locals know how lucky they are."
