Air Conditioning Delayed For DC Metro Stations: Report
An unexpected lamp post reportedly has delayed air conditioning for two extremely busy Metro stations in D.C.

WASHINGTON, DC -- If you use the DuPont Circle and Farragut North Metro stations regularly, we have some bad news for you: it could be a little on the warm side in the coming weeks.
That's because a fix to the cooling systems that provide air conditioning at the stations has been delayed because workers ran into an unexpected lamp post that was not accounted for in engineering drawings, according to a report from NBC Washington's Adam Tuss.
Metro has permission to remove the lamp post, and air conditioning could be restored by next month, but customers are going to have to swelter in those stations for the time being.
