Barack Obama Puts On Santa Hat, Surprises Kids At DC Hospital
The former president surprised kids at a D.C. children's hospital with gifts.

WASHINGTON, DC -- Ex-President Barack Obama seems to be enjoying retired life, spending Wednesday surprising young patients at Children's National hospital in Northwest D.C., complete with a red Santa hat and a bag full of gifts.
The Washington Post reports that Obama was greeted with excitement, and then he handed out toys like jigsaw puzzles, Hot Wheels sets, and remote-controlled cars.
Only a handful of staff new Obama was coming. He spent about an hour and a half there. You can watch video of his visit below.
