Bus Driver Sexually Assaults Woman In Downtown DC: Police
Police say Kamal Alani, the operator of a privately owned bus, sexually assaulted a rider while he drove her early Sunday morning.

WASHINGTON, DC — A Virginia bus driver allegedly sexually assaulted a woman while he drove her in downtown D.C., police announced Wednesday.
Kamal Alani, 52, of Reston was arrested Monday and charged with third-degree sexual abuse.
Police say Alani operated a privately owned bus and assaulted the woman during the ride early Sunday morning.

Alani allegedly pulled over on the side of the road in the 800 block of 17th St. NW and sexually assaulted the victim at about 1:19 a.m., police said. The woman was able to flee without any injuries.
