DC Police Seize 58,000 Pieces Of Fireworks In One District: MPD
D.C. police seized more than 58,000 pieces of illegal fireworks on the 4th of July in just one district, police say.

WASHINGTON, DC -- The Metropolitan Police Department seized more than 58,000 pieces of fireworks in one district as part of a city-wide crackdown during the 4th of July, police say.
Police posted photos on Twitter of the haul, which showed countless boxes stacked on top of each other.
Yesterday, MPD recovered thousands of illegal fireworks in the city. More than 58,000 pieces were recovered in a single district!
