DC Road Closures Due To Plane Crash

WASHINGTON, DC — With more than 300 emergency responders along the banks of the Potomac River to help recover victims from the plane crash near Reagan National Airport, several streets in the District are closed Thursday.

The Metropolitan Police Departmentsaid these DC streets are closed because of the emergency response, although closures are subject to change:

  • Potomac Avenue from South Capitol Street to Second Street, SW
  • Second Street from Q Street to V Street, SW
  • First Street from Q Street to V Street, SW
  • Half Street from Q Street to V Street, SW
  • V Street from Second Street to Half Street, SW
