Planning To See The Cherry Blossoms This Saturday? Expect Street Closures Due To Marathon

WASHINGTON, DC — Anyone planning to visit the Tidal Basin on Saturday to check out the National Cherry Blossom Festival should probably take public transportation.

Streets around the National Mall will be closed to traffic and parking due to the 2022 Rock n Roll Half Marathon and 5K.

Emergency no parking signs will be in effect from 12:01 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the following streets:

• 12th Street, NW, from Constitution Avenue to Pennsylvania Avenue, NW

• Virginia Avenue, NW, from Constitution Avenue to 18th Street, NW
