DC Woman Shot To Death In Broad Daylight In PG County: Police
A 20-year-old DC woman was shot to death in broad daylight in District Heights, police said.

DISTRICT HEIGHTS, MD — A 20-year-old DC woman was shot to death in broad daylight in District Heights this past weekend, Prince George's County Police said.
The victim was identified as Alashia Ervin-Bethea of Chaplin Street in Southeast Washington.
Officers were called to the 2700 block of Lorring Dr. for a report of a shooting at about 10:55 a.m. Sunday.

Ervin-Bethea was found inside of a car suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, police said. She was pronounced dead a short time later at a hospital.
Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random crime.

Detectives are looking to identify a suspect(s) and a motive. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case. Tipsters will never have to give their name.
