Holiday Cocktail Crawl Kicks Off Shawlidays Shopping Event In DC
Starting Wednesday, developer JBG Smith is holding its first-ever holiday shopping festival in the Shaw neighborhood of Washington, D.C.
WASHINGTON, DC — Developer JBG Smith is holding its first-ever holiday shopping festival in the Shaw neighborhood of Washington, D.C., an event intended to connect the local community with its favorite vendors.
On Wednesday, four bars in the Shaw neighborhood will open their doors for a cocktail crawl, offering a free drink at each location. The neighborhood crawl also kicks off the Shawlidays advent shopping experience, where participating stores at The Shay and Atlantic Plumbing will give their first 24 customers each day an exclusive gift-with-purchase.
Hot-ticket items include sample boxes from Le Labo, glasses cases from Warby Parker, festive socks from Bonobos, skincare essentials from Glo30, Compass Coffee’s own seasonal coffee blend and D.C.-themed merch from Union Kitchen.

The Shawlidays Holiday Cocktail Crawl is free, but registration is required on Eventbrite. The event runs from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
The Shay is located at 1924 8th St. NW and Atlantic Plumbing is located 2112 8th St. NW. The Shawlidays shopping event runs through Dec. 24.
