Homeless Man Stabs Victim In Shaw Library, Police Say
A homeless man was arrested for allegedly stabbing another man inside the Shaw Library in Northwest Washington, police said.

WASHINGTON, DC — A homeless man was arrested for allegedly stabbing another man inside the Shaw Library in Northwest Washington Saturday, police said.
Damien Maxwell, 25, of no fixed address was arrested for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, police announced Tuesday.
At about 2:15 p.m., Maxwell and the victim allegedly got into a verbal altercation inside the library. Maxwell then brandished a knife and stabbed the victim, police said. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
