There's no escaping "chance of showers" in this week's weather forecast. Here's the timeline, including the best chance for rain.

Noticed that the rain clouds have been tough to shake? Get used to it.

This week is full of the "chance of showers" line.

The best chance will be Thursday night, when showers are likely, possibly with a thunderstorm as we head into Friday.

For the weekend, more of that "chance of showers." The sun will come out by the end of the weekend, but temperatures cool into the mid 60s.

Here's the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:

Monday: A chance of showers. Increasing clouds, with a high near 69. West wind 6 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Tuesday: A chance of showers. Cloudy, with a high near 69. East wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Wednesday: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 74. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Thursday: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 75. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Friday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 74. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
