WASHINGTON, DC — Veterinary Emergency Group opened its newest animal hospital in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, the company’s 25th location nationwide. The new emergency veterinary hospital, at 2311 M St. NW, is the company's first location in the D.C. area.
The D.C. location will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Each VEG hospital has an open floor plan that gives pet owners freedom of movement from exam room to treatment floor. They can stay with their pet during all phases of treatment, including surgery and overnight hospitalization.
When a pet owner calls with questions, they will speak directly with a licensed veterinarian at VEG, the company said.
