New Jersey Transit operates an extensive commuter rail network, particularly in northern New Jersey. It also offers connections with other rail services including PATH, MTA, Amtrak, SEPTA and PATCO.
BUS
NJ Transit operates a statewide bus system including service from Morris County to New York City Port Authority, local service within Morris County, and local service between Morris, Essex, and Passaic Counties.
AIRPORTS
Morristown Municipal Airport is located in Hanover Township (Morris County) and is used as a private airport for corporate and personal aircraft.
Newark International Airport is New Jersey’s aviation hub, offering a full range of domestic and international flights. From Morris County, take NJ Transit rail and transfer at Secaucus Junction to the Northeast Corridor or the North Jersey Coast Line to reach the airport. At the airport station, board the AirTrain to reach your terminal.
JFK International Airport is located in southern Queens, New York, providing domestic and international flights. From NY Penn Station, take the LIRR to the Jamaica Station and board the AirTrain to reach your terminal.
LaGuardia Airport is located in northern Queens, New York, primarily providing domestic flights. From NY Penn Station or the NY Port Authority, board the NY Airport Service Express Bus (call 718-875-8200 to make a reservation)
DRIVING
