WASHINGTON, DC — Former President Barack Obama stopped by the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Washington to spread some holiday cheer Thursday, passing out gifts and posing for a photo with middle schoolers at the center.
“There's no better time than the holiday season to reach out and give back to our communities. Great to hear from young people at the Boys & Girls Club in DC today,” Obama wrote on Twitter with a photo of himself with the kids at the center.
Obama, wearing a red santa cap and a leather jacket, stopped by the Jelleff Club on Benning Road in Northeast Washington for about half an hour Thursday, The Washington Post reported.
