• Pepco, Salvation Army expand winter energy relief program (wusa9.com) — DC residents facing steep winter energy bills may qualify for expanded Pepco-Salvation Army relief, with Exelon adding $1.5 million for low-income customers in the District and nearby Maryland counties. Eligible households with at least a $250 balance can seek up to $300 in aid, with DC applications opening in February and income guidelines applying.
   

• Hiding in plain sight is the focus of a new exhibit coming to DC's Spy Museum (wtop.com) — A major new exhibit on camouflage is coming to Washington’s International Spy Museum, opening March 1 and running through 2029. Visitors can explore the history of military and spy camouflage, see thousands of patterns from 160 countries, and try interactive displays that include designing camo and testing facial recognition technology, with tickets already on sale.
