Authorities list specific train and shuttle times, urge riders to check vaccination status, and ask anyone with symptoms to call a doctor before seeking care in person.

• Washington Wizards to Honor John Wall at Home Game Later This Month (nationofblue.com) — Washington basketball fans will see the Wizards honor former star point guard John Wall at Capital One Arena later this month, with a tribute game on January 29. Festivities start January 27 with a “Wall of Fame” pop-up, special merchandise, and an in-game and halftime celebration recognizing his impact on the team and the District.

• Ford's ‘First Look' festival showcases three new productions (washingtonblade.com) — Ford’s Theatre in downtown D.C. is hosting a free “First Look” festival Jan. 16–17, giving Washington audiences an early peek at three history-driven plays in development. The lineup includes works on Japanese American incarceration, Clara Barton’s Civil War efforts, and John Lewis’s early activism, continuing Ford’s push to spotlight diverse, civil-rights-focused stories with strong queer and local creative voices.
