Person Trapped In Car That Went Down Embankment: DC Fire And EMS
A person was trapped inside a car that crashed and went down an embankment in Northwest Washington Tuesday morning.
WASHINGTON, DC — A person is suffering serious injuries after they got trapped in a car that crashed and went down an embankment in Northwest Tuesday morning.
DC Fire and EMS officials responded to the scene on Rock Creek Parkway north of Virginia Avenue NW at about 8:30 a.m. Officials said the "unstable car" was in a "precarious position," causing them to use a variety of tools to help get the victim out.
The victim is suffering serious non-life threatening injuries, authorities said.
