Reagan National One Of Worst Airports For Summer Delays: Report
Washington's Reagan National is one of the worst airports in the U.S. for delays, according to a report.

WASHINGTON, DC — Millions of travelers across the country are getting ready to go on summer vacations, and airports are busy preparing for a flood of traffic. More than 200 million passengers flew in U.S. airlines between June and August last year, according to the federal Department of Transportation. The potential for flight delays varies among the country's biggest airports, but according to MagnifyMoney.com, Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C., is the eighth worst airport for delays in the nation.
The study looked at the rate of on-time arrivals from 2008 to 2017. Reagan's rate was 74.4 percent, according to the data. Reagan, Dulles Airport and Baltimore-Washington International Airport all have more summer delays than winter holdups among the country's 50 busiest airports.
Newark was the worst airport for summer delays in the country, followed by LaGuardia in New York, San Francisco, JFK in New York and Logan airport in Boston.
