FAIRFAX STATION, VA — Homeward Trails Animal Rescue is helping a 6-year-old domestic shorthair cat find a new home. Here's what they say about him:

"Mustache is quite the ladies man once you put in the time to win him over. He'll rub against your legs in anticipation of some yummy treat at meal time. Take a nap on the couch and he'll snuggle on your legs or sleep at your feet at night. He may talk to you in his sweet, raspy meow voice as he follows you around the house and just wants to be near you.

"Having a confident kitty friend makes all the difference for Mustache, and he definitely needs a cat friend who wants him around. He must be adopted to a home with a welcoming, resident cat. He still loves playing with everything that is remotely close to a toy, but he has his favorites, including the robot vacuum (!), a chirping bird, and a feather wand with a bell that he likes to drag from floor to floor; basically, if it makes a noise, he really loves it."

Thanks to Stella and Chewy's, Mustache's adoption fee will be reimbursed to you if you adopt him in November.
