Suspect Arrested In String Of Armed Robberies Of Taxi Drivers: Police
Police have arrested a 22-year-old D.C. man who is accused of robbing multiple taxicab drivers with a knife throughout D.C.

WASHINGTON, DC — Police have arrested a 22-year-old D.C. man who is accused of robbing multiple taxicab drivers with a knife in Northeast and Southeast Washington.
Thomas Maynard Parker, of Northeast, was arrested and charged with three counts of armed robbery Wednesday, police said.
According to police, Parker robbed three taxi drivers from December 2016 to September 2017. The most recent incident happened September 2, 2017 in the 3500 block of A Street SE.

Police say the taxi driver drove Parker to the above location at about 4:15 p.m. When they arrived at the drop off location, Parker then brandished a knife and demanded the driver to hand over his property, police said. The victim complied and the suspect fled on foot.
