Wood-Fired Pizza Chain Opening Restaurant In Penn Quarter: Report
Matchbox reportedly is opening its newest location on July 3 in Penn Quarter.

WASHINGTON, DC -- Matchbox is opening its newest location in Penn Quarter this week, blocks away from one they closed recently, according to a report.
Popville reports that the pizza chain is opening a restaurant in a 4,630-square-foot space at 750 E Street NW on July 3 after closing its original restaurant in Chinatown.
This Matchbox location will debut a cocktail selection and 45-seat bar area, as well as dedicated lunch and dinner menus with dishes like filet mignon and jumbo lump crab cake -- although wood-fired pizzas will still be the main draw, according to the report.
