An investigation is underway in Miami Shores Monday after a 47-year-old woman was killed in a police-involved shooting.

“I am not aware of an exchange of fire other than the single officer engaging the victim,” said Miami Shores Police Chief Kevin Lystad.

Lystad said it all started when his officers responded to a disturbance call at 68 NW 95 Street.
