Burglary Suspects Crash Into Home During Police Chase: Brookhaven Cops
Three burglary suspects are accused of breaking into storage units before leading police on a chase and crashing into a home.
BROOKHAVEN, GA — A police chase of burglary suspects ended with a crash into a home Monday in Brookhaven, police said.
Officers responded to the burglary call around 5:47 a.m. to the 3400 block of Blair Circle, police said.
A 911 caller told dispatch she saw three people breaking into storage units at her apartment building, police said.

When officers arrived, police said they saw the suspects' vehicle leaving a parking deck. The driver refused to stop, prompting a brief police chase from Johnson Ferry to Peachtree roads, police said.
The chase continued onto Redding Road, where the vehicle crashed into a home at the intersection of Redding Road and Redding Way, police said.

The three people inside the vehicle ran from the scene, and officers were able to take the driver into custody, police said.
No one was injured in the crash, police said. The DeKalb County Fire Department examined the home for structural damage, police said.
Any potential charges in the case were not revealed, and police did not identify the suspects.
