MARTA Rail Expected to Cause Travel Delays This Weekend

and Chamblee MARTA customers will be required to board on the southbound platforms for all directions this weekend while MARTA crews perform scheduled track maintenance, agency officials said Thursday.

Service interruptions and modifications will begin Friday, April 6 at 9 p.m. and end Saturday operating a 24-minute schedule.

On Sunday, the Red/Gold Lines will operate a 24-minute schedule while the Green/Blue Lines will return to a regular schedule, according to a MARTA press release. The Green Line trains will shuttle from Bankhead to Ashby. At Vine City, Ashby and Bankhead Stations, all trains will board on the eastbound platforms.
