Pollen Count Drops, but Still High
Tuesday set a new record for number of consecutive days in March at 80 or more degrees.

The pollen count for Wednesday - although still extremely high according to Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Karen Minton - dropped dramatically from Tuesday's count.
Wednesday's count was 5,174 particles of pollen per cubic meter of air. Tuesday's record count was 9,369.
The National Weather Service predicts a forecast Wednesday of partly sunny, with a high near 81. Southeast wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports that Tuesday's high of 83 marked the seventh consecutive day of temperatures in the 80s, setting a new record for consecutive March days in the 80s.
