The Taste Of Chamblee Set For Oct. 7

Surrounding communities are invited out to the Taste of Chamblee, which is set for Oct. 7.

CHAMBLEE, GA -- One of DeKalb County's most diverse cities known for its international cuisine is hosting a feast for the senses this fall. The Taste of Chamblee returns to downtown Chamblee on Oct. 7, Patch has learned.

This year, foodies can expect to get tasty fare from Italy, the Mideast, Mexico to the deep-fried South. Chamblee'sdiverse restaurant community will be well represented, too.

The family-friendly event will feature a kids zone for tykes of all ages. “This is a significant event in the City of Chamblee. It showcases our diversity and brings our cultures together,” said City Manager Jon Walker.

Admission is free, but tickets for tastings will cost $1. Patrons are encouraged to take MARTA.
