Douglas Co. FBLA Students Attend Leadership Conference in Athens
Annual conference helped build leadership skills, provide educational enrichment and to give opportunities for students to network.

FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) students from Alexander, Chapel Hill and Douglas County High Schools attended the Fall Leadership Conference in Athens on Nov. 4 and 5.
The annual conference is intended to build leadership skills, provide educational enrichment and to give opportunities for FBLA students to network with one another.
The dynamic general session on Wednesday night encouraged members to be aware of the sacrifices that are necessary in order to achieve their goals by remembering the term WISE (What I Sacrifice Everyday).

On Thursday, members participated in sessions focused on Digital Branding, Preparing for College Success, Personal Financial Leadership, and Business Management. They also participated in the world’s largest Monopoly tournament which supports the March of Dimes. FBLA will return to Athens in March, 2016 for the State Leadership Conference.
