Free Pet Vaccine Clinic Set In March For Petco Love's 'National Pet Vaccination Month'
Douglas County partnered with national nonprofit Petco Love for its "National Pet Vaccination Month" to host a free pet vaccine clinic.
DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Save the date, pet owners: Douglas County and Petco Love are offering a free pet vaccination clinic for one-day only next month.
Petco Love designated March as "National Pet Vaccination Month" to encourage pet parents to keep their pets up-to-date on their vaccinations and provide free pet vaccines to the Douglas County Animal Shelter for family pets in need.
"As puppy and kitten season approaches, a pet's exposure to parvovirus, distemper and panleukopenia increases, but is preventable with a simple vaccine," a news release said.
