- During a high school football game between Mays High School and Douglas County, a coach from Mays High School physically assaulted a player by punching him in the first quarter. The incident, which occurred as part of the Great Atlanta Bash, led to the coach being escorted off the field by police and taken into custody. The coach will face charges of simple battery and administrative consequences from the district, according to an Atlanta Public Schools spokesman. (WVTM)
- A confrontation involving approximately 10 teenagers occurred at a theater in Douglasville, late Sunday afternoon, leading to the closure of the Regal Cinema Theater within the mall. Two individuals were arrested by Douglasville police in connection with the incident, which also led to reports of gunshots due to a falling sign. The identities of the involved teenagers remain uncertain at this time. (yahoo! news)

Marks has not only partnered with DCSS but also joined the Marketing Pathway Advisory Committee, helping students develop business skills, confidence, and hands-on experience.
