No Cell Service? Massive Verizon Outage Reported Across Georgia

Downdetector is reporting a statewide outage for Verizon customers in Georgia, which started just before 3 p.m. Monday.

Atlanta, Macon, Warner Robins, Savannah, Albany, Valdosta, Statesboro, Brunswick and Columbus are among the most-reported locations for a Verizon outage Monday, according to Downdetector.

GEORGIA — Can't make a phone call or send a text? If you're a Verizon customer, that's probably because there's a widespread outage across the state, according to Downdetector.

Downdetector shows the problems started around 2:40 p.m. ET on Monday, with roughly 90 percent claiming no signal or phones are working, according to WMAZ.

Macon, Warner Robins, Savannah, Atlanta, Albany, Valdosta, Statesboro, Brunswick and Columbus are among the most-reported locations for outages, according to Downdetector.

Verizon Support has acknowledged and responded to multiple tweets regarding outages in Georgia, but the company hasn't yet said what the issue is.
