Car Crashed Into Pole, Lanes Closed At I-285 Dunwoody Bridge

Power in the area was cut off Thursday morning after the crash, according to Dunwoody police.

DUNWOODY, GA — Ashford Dunwoody Road bridge over Interstate 285 has been closed until further notice after a car crashed into a power pole Thursday morning, according to Dunwoody police.

No vehicles are allowed north or southbound.

Sergeant Robert Parsons said the crash took out the power lines in the area and Georgia Power is working to get it back on. The road is expected to remain closed for a few hours, he said.

Commuters are encouraged to use Ga-400 to get to I-285, reported WSB 24-hour Traffic Center.
