Hit-And-Run Injures Man After Dunwoody Pub Brawl

Two men got into an argument after one of them touched the other's girlfriend, leading to a brawl and hit-and-run in Dunwoody.

DUNWOODY, GA — A fight at a Dunwoody sports pub resulted in a hit-and-run that critically injured a man early Friday morning, police said.

Officers responded around 2:15 a.m. to the 4700 block of Ashford Dunwoody Road, where police said two men got into an argument after one of them touched the other's girlfriend to get her attention. The couple was sitting at the bar at the time, police said.

The men got into a physical altercation, and management asked them to leave the pub, police said.

When the couple entered the parking lot, police said the man was hit by a car that then left the scene. Police said witnesses told them the car intentionally drove toward the man, hitting him.

Though officers were initially told someone had been shot, police said they have not found evidence of a shooting.

The man who was hit, who is in his mid-40s, was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital with serious injuries, police said. He was in critical but stable condition, police said.
