• MARTA to close select faregates for Breeze payment system upgrade (roughdraftatlanta.com) — MARTA riders using Dunwoody Station should be prepared for ongoing fare equipment construction as the agency upgrades its Breeze payment system, though trains and buses will keep running normally. Some other stations face temporary faregate closures and detours on specific December dates, so allow a few extra minutes and follow posted signs when traveling.
   

• Atlanta's first Santa with Down syndrome spreads holiday cheer (atlantanewsfirst.com) — A Dunwoody resident named Bradley, who lives independently with Down syndrome, is bringing extra joy as Atlanta’s first Santa with Down syndrome at a local holiday party. His role gives children with Down syndrome a chance to see themselves in Santa and inspires families with what’s possible for their kids’ futures.
   

• No coaches, no budget, no quit: Inside the rising Georgia club baseball team (redandblack.com) — A University of Georgia club baseball player from Dunwoody is helping lead a self-funded, player-run team that keeps competitive baseball alive for students who skipped the NCAA route. Teammates handle everything from fundraising and travel to lineups, all while chasing regional and World Series dreams. Their growing program now fields two squads and relies on dues and donations to stay on the field.
