3 Injured In 4-Vehicle Pileup On I-75 S In Cobb

State authorities told Patch a car failed to maintain its lane and hit three other vehicles on Interstate 75 south.

MARIETTA, GA — Three people were injured Thursday in a four-vehicle pileup on Interstate 75 south near Delk Road, the Georgia State Patrol told Patch.

The GSP said a white Hyundai Sonata failed to maintain its lane and hit three other vehicles.

511GA, the state transportation alert system, said late morning the crash shut down three lanes on the interstate. All lanes have since been reopened.

The GSP said two drivers and a passenger suffered minor injuries and were taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.

The crash caused minor injuries to two drivers and a passenger. Their conditions were unknown Thursday afternoon.
