44th Annual HarvestFest Kicks Off Saturday In Marietta
Mark your calendars: HarvestFest returns Saturday featuring carnival games, inflatables, a DJ, costume contests and a pie-eating contest.

MARIETTA, GA — For the last 43 years, the city of Marietta's annual HarvestFest has brought fall and Halloween fun to the city. Now, it's time for the 44th year of HarvestFest activities.
The 44th annual HarvestFest is coming to Marietta Square this Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., featuring arts and crafts, a kid's touch-a-truck, inaugural pie-eating contest, Halloween Happenings, Scarecrows on the Square winner announcements, a children's costume contest and a pet costume contest.
The event also features exhibits including painting, pottery, woodworking, jewelry and other types of crafts. Admission is free, and there will also be a DJ, inflatables, candy and more.

Here's a schedule of events:
- 9 a.m.-5 p.m.: HarvestFest arts and crafts
- 10 a.m.-2 p.m.: Kid's Touch-A-Truck
- Noon-12:30 p.m.: Inaugural pie-eating contest
- 1-5 p.m.: Halloween Happenings
- Halloween Happenings is for children age 12 and younger, offering carnival games and kid-friendly activities.
- 1:45 p.m.: Scarecrows on the Square winners announced
- 2 p.m.: Children's costume contest begins
- 3 p.m.: Pet costume contest begins
