Cobb Outdoor Movie Series Continues At Fair Oaks Park
Cobb County's monthly drive-in movie series continues this weekend with a "Sonic the Hedgehog" screening. Registration is open.
COBB COUNTY, GA — Load up the car with your choice of movie snacks, popcorn and drinks, because Cobb County's drive-in movie series continues this weekend.
The Kaiser Permanente Movies in the Park series kicked off last month at Jim Miller Park, but this time the movie series will take place Saturday at Fair Oaks Park in Marietta. The showing of "Sonic the Hedgehog" will begin around sunset, but the park opens at 7 p.m. Visitors can enjoy trivia questions prior to the film screening.

Registration is required to attend the movie showings throughout the summer, and locations vary. Registration is open for the "Sonic the Hedgehog" showing June 5, and the cost is $20 per vehicle.
You can register online on the Cobb County parks website here. Click on "Register and Reserve," then "Special Events" and navigate to the "Special Event - Parks" section for the Movies in the Park series.

Registration for each showing will open up two weeks prior to the event date. The next showings are as follows:
- July 10: "The Sandlot" at Big Shanty Park
- Aug. 7: "Abominable" at Lost Mountain Park
- Sept. 11: An undetermined movie will be shown at Fullers Park
Fair Oaks Park is located at 1460 W. Booth Road Extension in Marietta.
