Have Coffee With A Cop Wednesday In Cobb

On Wednesday, Oct. 4, the public is invited to have coffee with a law enforcement officer in Cobb County.

MARIETTA, GA -- On Wednesday, Oct. 4, Cobb County residents are invited to have a bagel with a badge and "coffee with a cop." Cobb officers are participating in the 2017 National Coffee-with- a-Cop Program.

The program has its roots in the 2016 National Community Policing Week, where officers made an effort to build relations with the areas they served. Now Coffee with a Cop continues on the first Wednesday in October.

"A Coffee-with- a-Cop event is not only relaxed and informal, but it is an easy way to get to know the
men and women of law enforcement," Marietta police said in a news release.
Cobb officers will be available for a coffee and chat at one of the following locations on Wednesday, Oct. 4:
