'Husky' East Point Man Arrested In Marietta Bank Robbery: Police

A suspect from East Point has been arrested in the robbery of a Marietta bank, Cobb police say.

MARIETTA, GA -- A Fulton County man has been arrested in a bank robbery that took place in East Cobb, police said. Eduardo Estrada, 35, of East Point was apprehended on a charge of robbery intimidation, according to Cobb police. The case was solved thanks to Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta, which described the suspect as "husky."

Investigators said that Estrada walked up to a teller and "made a verbal demand for money," according to Cobb police spokesman Dana Pierce. After getting an undisclosed amount of cash from the teller, the robber fed eastbound on foot through the parking lot of the Kroger.

Authorities were able to make an arrest thanks to a tip from Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta, which blasted the information on its various channels.

Estrada is being held in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.
