Love Solving Riddles? Cobb Added More Escape Room Sessions
The popularity of Cobb County's escape room, The Emporium, prompted the county to add more sessions through Aug. 7.
COBB COUNTY, GA — Most parks have the standard swing sets, slides, green space, playgrounds and monkey bars, but one of Cobb County's parks offers something a little different.
The Cobb County Parks and Recreation Department created an escape room experience at the Oregon Park annex, located at 145 Old Hamilton Road in Marietta. The current escape room, The Emporium, opened in late May — and has been so popular that the county added more sessions through Aug. 7, the county announced Monday.
Up to six people can participate in an escape room game, where you're "locked" in the room until you complete the puzzles to escape; however, all entry doors will actually remain unlocked for the duration of the game.
