Marietta Man Carjacked, Killed In Atlanta: ICYMI
A Marietta man was carjacked and fatally shot over the weekend in southwest Atlanta, according to news reports.

MARIETTA, GA -- A Marietta man was carjacked and fatally shot over the weekend in southwest Atlanta, according to news reports. The body of Martin Hvizda, 31, was found Sept. 16 on Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard, local media reported.

“The shooting appears to have been a result of a motor vehicle hijacking,” Atlanta police Officer Stephanie Brown told the Atlanta-Journal Constitution. “And the unknown suspects fled the area in the victim’s vehicle.”
