Production crews for the Apple TV+ film "Ghosted," filming under the fake name "Carousel," have reportedly been filming in Marietta Square.

MARIETTA, GA — Production crews are wrapping up filming Tuesday in Marietta Square, and multiple news outlets report that the movie may feature an "Avengers" star and other A-list celebrities.
While crews were setting up equipment near North Park Square on Friday, a security guard told the Marietta Daily Journal that a project titled "Carousel" was filming in the Square.
But the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Thursday that an Apple TV+ project starring "Avengers" actor Chris Evans, who played Steve Rogers/Captain America in the Marvel movies, was filming in the Atlanta area under a fake name: "Carousel."

The real title of the romantic adventure-action film is "Ghosted," which also stars "No Time to Die" actress Ana de Armas after she took over the lead role from Scarlett Johansson. Academy Award-winning actor Adrien Brody is also set to star in the movie, the AJC reported.
Filming took place Monday and continues Tuesday, Marietta Parks Director Richard Buss told Marietta City Council in an email, according to the MDJ. The set on North Park Square is supposed to be taken down Wednesday, with lanes reopening to the public as soon as possible.
