Multi-Vehicle Pileup Blocks Lanes On I-75 S In Marietta

MARIETTA — A multi-vehicle crash involving tractor-trailers has all lanes blocked Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 75 south at Exit 260, Windy Hill Road, according to the state transportation system, 511-GA.

Traffic officials said lanes could be impacted for several hours. Drivers are asked to avoid traveling on I-75 south from Kennesaw to Marietta.

Drivers may use State Road 3/US-41 Cobb Parkway south as an alternate route.

At 4 p.m., the Georgia State Patrol told Patch the scene remained active.

The details surrounding the crash are unknown.

Atlanta News First reported the crash may not be cleared until 8 p.m. Tuesday.
