MARIETTA, GA — Marietta City Council members approved a rezoning request last week that allows MUST Ministries location on Cobb Parkway to be converted into a school next year, the Marietta Daily Journal reported.

The 30,000-square-foot facility — which currently houses administrative offices, a food pantry and 4,600-square-foot thrift store for MUST Ministries— will be turned into the new home for Gracepoint School, a private Christian school for first graders through eighth graders with dyslexia, the MDJ reported.

The school is purchasing a 4.45-acre parcel from MUST Ministries, as well as another adjacent parcel. Gracepoint plans to build 25 classrooms and a gym.
