Marietta, Georgia — Georgia has a storied tradition of military service, with countless individuals dedicating their lives to protecting our nation. Please describe the individual’s military service.

Mike entered the U S Navy in 1972. He remained in the Navy for 17 years as a Yeoman, reaching the rank of Chief Petty Officer. In 1990, Mike received a commission as a Supply Corps Officer and served another 17 years of service. He served in a number of capacities such as the Captain’s Office, Training Officer, Cargo Handling Operations Officer. Mike was selected as Petty Officer of the Quarter and Petty Officer of the Year

Mike loves to play golf. He specifically has a Grandson & Granddaughter as well as a great-grandson.
