Police said Terrell Lowdermilk, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, was driving a semi-truck when he collided with another tractor-trailer on I-75. The drivers pulled over to the right shoulder of the interstate and exited their vehicles, police said.
Lowdermilk was then hit by the Silverado while standing in the left lane on the entrance ramp before the Silverado fled the scene, police said.
"We ask the public to please keep the Lowdermilk family in their prayers," police said in a news release.
