  1. A woman who was killed last week while trying to assist a driver who had crashed in Marietta is being remembered by friends and family for her generous spirit. The incident occurred on Saturday, Sep. 23 on I-75 South near the Delk Road exit. According to the Marietta Police Department, a black Kia Sedona lost control, striking the center median and then the guard rail on the right. Sarah Bolt, a 38-year-old from Monroe, stopped to assist the driver of the Kia when she was fatally struck by a Dodge Charger. An official with the police department said that charges or citations may be forthcoming once they have considered all the evidence. (People)
  2. On the Marietta Square, a car recently drove through the storefront of Taqueria Tsunami. The incident occurred on Wednesday, Sep. 27, and there were no injuries. According to the Marietta Police Department, a Tesla drove into the store's front glass after the driver said they accidentally pressed the gas pedal instead of the brakes. (11 Alive)
