Wood Acres School Recognized Among 2025 Best Schools in America

The private school received an overall A+ grade ranking in the prestigious annual rankings by Niche

Wood Acres School in Marietta announced today that it has been recognized as a 2025 Best School by Niche, the market leader in connecting colleges and schools with students and families. This year, the school secured an overall A+ grade ranking based on data provided by the school, as well as parent reviews. The school also received an A+ grade for Academics, and A grades for Teachers and Diversity.

“We are thrilled to be ranked among the top private schools in America by Niche, and are proud to secure an overall A+ grade,” commented Head of School Laurie Mazor. “This grade is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our teachers, whose top priority is to provide our students with an exceptionally personalized, high-quality private education.”

Wood Acres has been providing students in East Cobb County, Ga., with high-quality private school education for more than 50 years. Founded in 1969 as Wood Acres Country Day School as a first-of-its-kind preschool serving children from 2 to 4 years old, the school soon gained popularity and expanded its location and grades served. In 2006, the school expanded to include two science labs, a STEM lab, technology lab and dedicated foreign language classrooms. The school celebrated 50 years of outstanding learning in 2019.
