Bandana-Wearing Bandit Robs Second Business: Police

The Gwinnett Police Department is searching for a bandana-wearing bandit wanted in two recent Gwinnett business robberies.

NORCROSS, GA – The Gwinnett Police Department is searching for a bandana-wearing bandit wanted in two recent Gwinnett business robberies.

The first robbery occurred on Aug. 6, at the Spy Insurance on Jimmy Carter Boulevard.

On Aug. 25, at around 6:15 p.m., the man robbed another local business in unincorporated Norcross. This recent robbery occurred at the Intermex Wire Transfer located at 4771 Britt Road, just a short distance away from Spy Insurance.

In both robberies, the man confronts a woman employee and demands money. He wears a bandana around his face while talking to the employee. He alludes to the victims that he has a weapon but none is seen. After taking cash, the suspect walks out of the business.

The detective is working hard on these cases trying to identify the man responsible. Police are asking members of the community to view the images and videos in both incidents. If anyone recognizes the suspect, they urge the public to call GCPD detectives at 770-513-5300.

Crime Stoppers tipsters can receive up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case. Case Numbers: 18-072831 (Spy Insurance) and 18-079381 (Intermex).

The man may also be responsible for a robbery in the city of Lilburn on August 14.
