Hollywood actor to teach On Camera class at Lionheart

Hollywood actor Casey Nelson will bring his extensive television and movie acting experience to Lionheart this summer. Upon graduating from the University of Georgia with a degree in Dramatic Arts, Casey moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting. He has appeared in numerous film and television roles including Transformers, Criminal Minds, NCIS, and Jane the Virgin, among others. Most recently, Casey wrote, produced, and starred in the feature THE LAST TREASURE HUNT, which was released by Sony in 2016.

The class will focus on the basics of performing on camera and will include a guest speaker who will discuss working in the burgeoning film business in Georgia. The class runs June 17-21, 9 am to noon, at Lionheart Theatre in historic Norcross.The class is for ages 8 through adult and costs $250. To register, email casey196@att.net.
