March 13

The hilarious improv troupe OTC will appear at Lionheart Theatre Company, Friday, March 13 at 8 p.m. with classic and new improv bits that get the audience involved and howling. Tickets are $10 at www.lionhearttheatre.org.

March 14

Would you, could you like green eggs and ham if they’re prepared by gourmet Chef Nona Johnson, winner of Hell’s Kitchen season eight? Chef Nona will help Lionheart Theatre Company celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday with a Dr. Seuss gourmet brunch, a fun Dr. Seuss show and a craft on Saturday, March 14, 10 a.m. to noon at the Lionheart Centre for Art in the Old Cotton Gin at 125 Lawrenceville Street in Norcross.Tickets are at www.lionhearttheatre.org.

The hilarious romp “Sex Please! We’re Sixty” at Lionheart theatre, March 20-29, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15, and $12 for seniors and students. Dessert is included.

AUDITION

The Hundred Dresses

Based on the beloved Newbery Honor Book by Eleanor Estes, The Hundred Dresses is a timeless tale that explores the topics of bullying, self-assertion, friendship and forgiveness.

Auditions are Monday, March 30 and Tuesday, March 31. 7:00-8:30 at Lionheart Performing Arts Center in Norcross. Roles for girls and boys who can play ages 10-11, and two adults. ART CLASSES:

Starting with the basics of sketching, this beginner’s art class, for ages 10 and up, will cover still life drawing, portrait drawing, and the basics of painting with acrylics. This 8-week course is offered around your schedule on Wednesday mornings, afternoons, or evenings. Class is 2 hours and will be held at the Lionheart Centre for the Arts. There will be a Gala at the end of the semester where selected student works will be displayed. Classes begin April 15th. Cost for the class, supplies included, is $200.00. SATURDAY MORNING CRAFTS:

Join us on the first Saturday of every month for Family Craft Morning. You and your little ones can enjoy snacks, coffee, and juice while creating a piece of family art that will last for generations. Space is limited, so please reserve a spot for your family by the Thursday prior to class. Wear clothes to paint in! Admission is $5 per person with a max family cost of $20.
